What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist- Part Time position at Motion View , LLC?
We are seeking an experienced, capable, and detail-oriented Vertical CNC Milling Machinist who can work independently from start to finish on making machined parts. You should be able to make finished parts with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Produce machined parts without supervision from CAD files or drawings
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
- Set up and operate Vertical CNC Milling machines
- Select proper tooling and machining strategies
- Verify part accuracy using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision instruments
- Maintain high standards for quality, consistency, and safety
- Part-time Temporary - potential to be full time positon
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating a Vertical CNC Milling machine
- Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and setup
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, electronic measuring devices, etc.)
