What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel Systems Administrator / Dallas position at Motion Recruitment?
This Dallas-based healthcare organization is looking to bring on an IT System Administrator on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is heavily focused on hands-on infrastructure support across multiple sites nationwide, working with technologies like Windows, Fortinet firewalls, Nextiva VoIP, Office 365, and core networking (DNS, VPNs). This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with up to 75% travel across the U.S.
This role is perfect for someone who truly enjoys being a “jack of all trades” and wants to stay hands-on across systems, networking, and end-user support. The biggest draw here is the exposure to full lifecycle infrastructure builds across healthcare locations—you’re not just supporting environments, you’re helping build them from the ground up. They’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, travel-heavy role, is comfortable being the go-to technical resource onsite, and wants to continue growing across both systems and network engineering.
