We're hiring an experienced Software Engineer to join a global Developer Experience Engineering team supporting more than 1,600 software engineers across the organization. This team builds and enhances an internal engineering platform that enables developers to efficiently build, test, secure, and deploy applications throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin/Python/AWS)
📍 Location: Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid - 2 days onsite)
📅 Duration: 6-Month Contract
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain internal engineering tools and platforms.
- Enhance existing applications by implementing new features and improvements.
- Build Python-based dashboards and automation solutions using enterprise data sources.
- Develop software using Java and/or Kotlin while contributing across multiple technologies.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes.
- Partner with security teams to strengthen application and pipeline security.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in a rotating production support schedule.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Required Skills
- 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong programming experience with Java and/or Kotlin.
- Experience with Python for scripting or automation.
- Hands-on experience with AWS.
- Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with Git-based source control and modern development workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
- JFrog Artifactory or Nexus IQ.
- ServiceNow and Jira.
- Software supply chain security or DevSecOps.
- Experience building internal developer platforms or engineering productivity tools.
- Interest or experience in AI/Agentic Engineering.
Salary : $70 - $75
