- What You'll Do:
- Design, implement, and test control algorithms for robotic surgical systems.
- Develop and optimize motion planning and path control for complex, high-precision robotic arms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with software, hardware, and clinical teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot real-time systems and fine-tune motion performance.
- Support the integration of autonomous features into the surgical workflow.
- Document control software and participate in design reviews and regulatory preparation.
- Strong background in control systems design and implementation.
- Proficiency in software development (C , Python, or similar).
- Experience with robotics platforms, preferably in medical or high-stakes environments.
- Familiarity with motion control, path planning, and real-time embedded systems.
- Experience with autonomous systems or autonomous vehicles is a strong plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in robotics or automation.
- Knowledge of surgical robotics, medical devices, or regulated environments is a plus but not required.
- Work on cutting-edge surgical technology that has the potential to redefine modern healthcare.
