Senior .NET Developer / Hybrid / Phoenix, AZ

This Arizona-based debt-purchase company acquires delinquent or charged-off consumer debts—such as credit cards or personal loans—from original creditors at a discounted rate, allowing those lenders to immediately recover some value while offloading the cost and risk of further collection. For consumers, this can provide an opportunity to settle or resolve old debts under new terms. For lenders, they help clean up balance sheets and manage nonperforming debt.

They’re seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join their internal engineering team responsible for building and enhancing critical applications that support core business operations. In this role, you will work on modernizing, integrating, and optimizing systems that enable teams across the organization to manage workflows, process data efficiently, and drive day-to-day business functions. Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core
• Hands-on experience with Angular (latest versions preferred)
• Expertise with SQL Server, relational database design, and query optimization
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working within service-oriented architectures
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, design patterns, and best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively with business users and technical teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
  

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud deployments
• Familiarity with microservices or distributed systems
• Knowledge of enterprise application development in operational or financial environments

Daily Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server.
• Build and optimize RESTful Web APIs to support internal tools, system integrations, and data workflows
• Develop responsive front-end features using the latest versions of Angular
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability for applications that support internal operations
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and help establish best practices
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and deliver high-quality solutions
• Support modernization initiatives by refactoring legacy components into modern .NET Core services
