Position Title: Operations Support Engineer – Tier II
Position Duties: Perform advanced troubleshooting and analysis of customer data. Analyze network events and perform root cause analysis of network issues to prevent impairments and outages. Work on low and high severity trouble tickets, follow up with customer and engineers as needed, and provide status updates to the customer and management. Provide on-site technical support for customers, and develop RCAs as needed for customers. Develop customer specific reports that allow TAC to monitor and analyze customers’ network. Identify issues and take ownership of issues based on reports, emails and phone calls to meet customers’ requirements. Work may be performed at various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Work Location: 999 West Big Beaver Rd. Troy, Michigan 48084
Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Minimum Qualifications: US Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience as an electrical/wireless engineering professional.
Special Skill Requirements: Must have three (3) years of experience in each of the following skills: SOP; MOP; SLA; UMTS; LTE; RAN; NFS; and SFN.
