Duration: Permanent

Rate: $110,000 - $125,000 Base 8% Annual Bonus

A growing global organization is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join its infrastructure and security team in Somerset, NJ. This permanent opportunity offers a hybrid schedule and focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network environments across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud architectures. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with FortiGate firewalls, F5 BIG-IP, SD-WAN, routing protocols, and enterprise network security technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

· 5 years of professional network engineering or network security experience

· 5 years administering and maintaining FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer

· Strong experience with next-generation firewall technologies

· Experience supporting and maintaining F5 BIG-IP environments

· Advanced knowledge of SD-WAN and enterprise network architecture

· Experience with routing protocols including OSPF, eBGP, and iBGP

· Incident response experience related to network analysis and security events

· Experience implementing and maintaining secure network configurations and hardening standards

· Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally

Desired Skills & Experience

· Experience with cloud networking and security in Azure and GCP

· Cisco ISE, Meraki, and wireless networking experience

· ZTNA architecture and threat mitigation expertise

· Experience with IDS, IPS, DNS security, and application security technologies

· Experience with NAC solutions such as Aruba ClearPass, ForeScout, or Cisco

· Experience with PKI, HSM, authentication platforms, and SSL decryption technologies

· Experience with SIEM and log aggregation tools including Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, or similar platforms

· Healthcare or regulated industry experience

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking, Cybersecurity, or related field
