A clean energy company is looking to hire a Network Administrator to join their team on a full time basis. This is an onsite role located in Charlotte, NC about 10 minutes from the airport. This is a brand new office for the company in the CLT area and a great opportunity for growth in your career with a growing company.
They are ideally looking for a Network Administrator with 3 to 5 years of experience skilled in supporting and maintaining both Microsoft Azure Cloud environments and on-premise Fortinet network infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, availability, and security of both the company on-premise and cloud-based network systems. They need someone who has strong technical capabilities, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to manage and support a secure and resilient network infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure networking services and Fortinet network administration.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience configuring and managing Fortinet firewalls, including site-to-site VPNs and security policies.
- Working knowledge of Azure tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Network Watcher, and Azure Security Center.
- Certifications such as Fortinet NSE 4 , Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, CompTIA Network , or CCNA.
- Experience with hybrid cloud networking environments and security compliance standards.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar).
- Experience with network monitoring platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).
