Marketing Operations Manager

Our client, a leader in financial & tax software, is hiring a Marketing Operations Manager to join their team in Charlotte, NC.

**This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits and paid holidays**

As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will own the end-to-end procurement and campaign operations process for Paid Marketing initiatives. You'll oversee purchase requisitions and purchase orders, invoice reconciliation, legal review prioritization, creative backlog management, and cross-functional program coordination while partnering closely with Marketing, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Creative Operations teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement operations, including Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) submissions, invoice reviews, and monthly marketing spend reconciliation.
• Coordinate procurement planning and annual budgeting activities while supporting system transitions and process improvements.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Paid Marketing stakeholders to facilitate approvals, track media spend, and manage vendor relationships.
• Resolve billing, invoice, and PO discrepancies across vendors and internal teams to maintain financial accuracy.
• Own creative backlog management by tracking deliverables, monitoring timelines, and ensuring stakeholders remain aligned on priorities and deadlines.
• Manage legal review prioritization and escalation processes to ensure critical marketing initiatives move through approval workflows efficiently.

Desired Skills:

• 3 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Program Management, or Procurement, preferably supporting Paid Media or Marketing organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience managing procurement processes, budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, and financial operations.
• Hands-on experience with Coupa or similar procurement platforms and workflow management tools such as Airtable, Jira, Workfront, and Slack.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience leading cross-functional discussions and driving alignment across teams.
• Experience supporting marketing organizations, paid media teams, or campaign operations is highly preferred.
