A client with Kforce is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager II to join their team in Charlotte, NC. Summary: We are looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to own the end-to-end procurement and campaign operations for Paid Marketing initiatives. In this role, you will lead procurement lifecycle management (PR/PO generation, Coupa workflows, invoice reconciliation), govern legal review prioritization, manage creative backlog tracking across key lines of business (e.g., Paid, Insurance, Home, Personal Loans), and facilitate cross-functional rituals. This role requires a meticulous individual with strong marketing operations experience, deep proficiency in modern workflow platforms (Airtable, Jira, Workfront, Coupa), and a drive for process automation. Responsibilities: Procurement & Financial Operations:
- End-to-End Procurement Execution: Own Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) submissions via Coupa, review monthly invoices, and reconcile monthly marketing expenditures in Airtable
- Fiscal Planning & System Transitions: Manage annual procurement submissions (AOP planning)
- Vendor & Approval Facilitation: Collaborate directly with Procurement and Paid Marketing stakeholders to finalize insertion orders (IOs), track media spend, and streamline approvals via Slack and procurement tools
- Discrepancy Resolution: Resolve billing, invoice, and PO discrepancies between vendors, procurement, FP&A, and marketing teams
- Creative Backlog & Campaign Operations: Creative Backlog Management: Maintain and update creative backlogs, ensuring stakeholders meet objectives and timelines
- Workflow Communication & Tracking: Facilitate bi-weekly creative backlog review calls and post-meeting follow-ups to increase collaboration and improve visibility into cross-team dependencies
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field
- 3 years in a Marketing Operations, Marketing Program Management, or Procurement role (preferably supporting Paid Media or Marketing operations)
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of managing multi-channel project pipelines, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining financial accuracy
- Hands-on experience with procurement platforms (Coupa or similar) and project/workflow tools (Airtable, Workfront, Jira, Slack or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Comfortable facilitating multi-departmental alignment calls with Legal, FP&A, Strategy, and Creative Ops
- Proactive approach to identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing AI-assisted or automated solutions
- Experience tracking rapid changes for multiple projects across multiple teams
