- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, assigning work and managing daily workflow
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP
- Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Develop, implement, and improve accounting procedures, controls, and reporting processes
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the accuracy of financial data
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues and support business initiatives
- Research complex accounting matters and provide recommendations to management
- Assist with financial reporting, audits, and special projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Previous experience leading or supervising accounting staff
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- CPA designation preferred
- Experience in inventory and/or manufacturing environments preferred
