IT Installation Technician

Traveling IT Installation Technician / Onsite / Northeast Georgia

***Local Travel Required: Daily travel between Northeast Georgia locations (up to 80 miles per day; mileage reimbursed)***

is seeking an IT Installation Technician to support a large healthcare organization throughout Northeast Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys hands-on work, supporting end users, and traveling between multiple sites to install, configure, and troubleshoot a wide variety of technology.

In this role, you'll provide installation, technical support, and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, thin clients, VoIP phones, mobile devices, printers, audio/visual equipment, and other end-user technologies while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Contract Duration: 3 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous IT support or installation experience in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience supporting multiple technologies, including: Desktop and laptop computers, Thin clients, VoIP phone systems, Mobile devices, Audio/Visual equipment, Printers and peripherals
• Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems and basic network connectivity issues.
• Experience coordinating Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACD).
• Strong customer service and communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working in a healthcare environment.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support desktops, laptops, thin clients, mobile devices, VoIP phones, printers, audio/visual equipment, and related peripherals.
• Provide prompt, professional technical support to end users across multiple healthcare facilities.
• Coordinate hardware and software deployments while ensuring equipment meets organizational standards.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues.
