What You Will Be Doing
As a key member of our DevOps team, you will:
- Support on-site commissioning teams by troubleshooting network and server issues to ensure timely, successful project delivery.
- Manage and scale lab infrastructure—switches, firewalls, and Linux servers—to optimize performance for internal development teams.
- Train field and commissioning teams on standardized solutions to promote autonomy and consistency.
- Collaborate directly with customers to clarify requirements, provide updates, and resolve technical challenges.
- Assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of secure site-to-cloud network architectures.
- Create detailed network design documentation, diagrams, and user guides to support future engineering and maintenance efforts.
- Provide operational support, contribute to roadmap planning, and assist with new feature evaluations.
- Participate in security hardening and compliance initiatives across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Recommend product and feature improvements based on field performance and customer feedback.
- Support ongoing management of the company’s cloud-based network environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 7 years of experience in industrial or OT networking; background in the power or energy sector strongly preferred.
- 5 years of Linux system administration and virtualization experience (VMs or containers).
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and hands-on experience configuring switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
