Our client, Collins Aerospace, is hiring an Incident Manager to join their team in Annapolis, MD!
**This is a 1-year W2 contract with benefits** | **MID (overnight) SHIFT 11pm-7:30am EST**
As the Incident Manager, you will support a Tier 2 Network Operations Center (NOC), monitoring and resolving network and system incidents within a 24/7 operational environment. This role is critical in ensuring high availability across IP networks, messaging systems, and air-to-ground communication platforms while delivering timely incident resolution and excellent customer support.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor network management systems and respond to incidents in real time
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, system, and application issues
- Escalate complex incidents and collaborate with senior team members
- Track and document incidents accurately within ITSM tools
- Support high-availability IP networks, messaging systems, and communication platforms
- Manage multiple incidents simultaneously, prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skills:
- Network Certification (required)
- This position requires AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience OR HS Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and ITIL/ITSM practices
- Experience troubleshooting Cisco devices
- Familiarity with routing protocols such as BGP and HSRP
- CCNA Certification (preferred)
- Experience with ServiceNow, Remedy, Netcool, or Office 365 (preferred)
