Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a small-to-mid-size company or consulting environment
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law (federal and state)
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and tools such as ADP, Paylocity, or BambooHR
- Experience administering benefits and 401(k) programs
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Experience supporting multi-state employees and compliance with state-specific labor laws
- Familiarity with performance management systems and employee engagement initiatives
- Exposure to HR process improvement and policy development projects
- Knowledge of IT consulting or professional services environments is a plus
