Electrical Test Engineer

Our client is a global leader in e-commerce and cloud technology, recognized for innovation, customer obsession, and large-scale operational excellence. Based out of Seattle Washington they are looking to hire a Security Engineer IV on a Contract basis.

Contract Duration: 12 Month Contract

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field

• 5 years of experience in hardware security, embedded systems security, or similar

• Experience designing, testing, and analyzing circuit designs and PCB layouts

• Knowledge of threat modeling, secure boot implementations, and cryptography (RSA, AES, HMAC, PQC)

• Experience with manufacturing security processes, including secret provisioning and secure production flows

• Hands-on experience testing, debugging, or hacking hardware using common electronics test equipment

1. knowledge of circuit designs, assess circuit properly

2. knowledge of embedded security- how it’s used for enhancing security

3. hands-on experience with common test equipment: Oscilloscopes, multimeters, microscopes, logic analyzers, soldering

Desired Skills & Experience

• Master's degree in relevant technical field or equivalent advanced experience

• Knowledge of side-channel attack analysis and associated countermeasures

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, especially automated quality inspection techniques

• Experience writing technical documents, project plans and progress reports to leadership and to stakeholders

• Knowledge of debug interface security (JTAG, BDM), anti-rollback mechanisms, and fault injection protection

• Experience programming in at least one modern language such as C, C , or Rust
