Job Title: Dynamics 365 Field Service Deployment Specialist (Contract – On-site Rollout & Training)
We are seeking a hands-on Deployment Specialist to lead the on-site rollout, training, and go-live support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service across multiple national locations. This is a contract, individual contributor role providing direct, week-long deployment support at one site per week over a structured 16-week project.
As a Deployment Specialist, you’ll be the primary on-site resource, working closely with field technicians, dispatchers, and site leaders to ensure a seamless transition to the new platform. This role is focused entirely on deployment, enablement, and adoption, NOT development or programming or system architecture.
Contract Details
Length: 16 weeks (4 months)
Schedule: 1 new site per week (16 total), heavy on-site presence
Type: Individual contributor, no direct reports
Travel: Weekly travel required
Pay Rate: Pay Rate: $65 – $75/hr on W2

Key Responsibilities
Travel to assigned sites and coordinate end-to-end deployment of Dynamics 365 Field Service
Lead on-site readiness tasks: user access, mobile device prep, configuration checks, and go-live support
Deliver hands-on, instructor-led training tailored for field technicians, dispatchers, and site leaders
Validate user proficiency before site hand-off; address questions and troubleshoot user/device/platform issues
Closely monitor operational stability in live environments during deployment week (hypercare support)
Serve as the on-site escalation point for immediate deployment or user adoption issues
Collect field feedback, issues, and suggestions; relay insights to the central implementation team
Document outcomes, risks, and lessons learned for each site to improve future deployments
Required Qualifications
Experience deploying Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service or similar field service systems in multi-site environments
Prior success with on-site software rollout, training, and user support for front-line operations
Direct experience working with and training field technicians and dispatchers in real-world settings
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to respond quickly to on-site challenges
Participation in site-by-site/phase-based enterprise technology rollouts
Experience in fleet, transportation, utilities, field service, or emergency services environments
Knowledge of standardized deployment processes in distributed organizations
Familiarity with mobile workforce solutions, offline device usage, and field-centric workflows
Technology Familiarity
Dynamics 365 Field Service (user and configuration level)
Mobile platforms (iOS/Android) for work orders and inspections
General understanding of Power Platform, integrations, and enterprise cloud environments
