12 Month Contract (Possible extension)
Location: Hybrid (Client located in Pleasanton, CA)
Work Shift: Monday through Friday (8:00AM – 5:00PM PST)
*Must be able to work on W-2 basis
*Must be able to work PST hours

Job Description
Data Governance Specialist – Customer (Contract) Role Overview Looking for a Data Governance Specialist to support customer data quality, governance, and compliance in a retail environment.
- Improve and maintain customer data quality (accuracy, completeness, consistency) Apply and enforce data governance policies, standards, and rules Maintain data catalog, metadata, and data lineage
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams
Required Skills
- Experience in data governance and data quality
- Strong understanding of customer data in retail environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders (including C-suite) Knowledge of data privacy, PII, and compliance requirements
