Must Haves
- Direct merchant services / merchant acquiring / payments implementation experience
- Hands-on exposure to onboarding or enabling payment products (not purely back-office or advisory)
- Strong client-facing experience (this is critical vs. technical-only roles)
- Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder environments (clients internal teams vendors)
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with account boarding systems a plus.
- “Merchant onboarding,” “merchant acquiring,” “payment enablement,” “card processing”
- Implementation of gateways, ACH, card payments, invoicing systems
- Experience with FIS and/or CyberSource (3rd party WF tools only)
- Project-based work involving client integration or onboarding timelines
- High-volume client environments (enterprise or mid-market merchants)
- Strong communicator who can run client calls confidently
- Comfortable escalating issues and coordinating across teams
- Organized, structured, and dependable (prior contractor failure tied to time management)
- Ability to translate technical/payment concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- High degree of professionalism with strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills.
- Set up merchant payment gateways & invoicing solutions
- Manage client relationships (internal external)
- Escalate issues when needed
- Project & operations management
- Work closely with internal teams: Treasury, Sales, Product
