This full-time Automation QA Engineer position is based on-site in Alexandria, VA, supporting a nationally respected non-profit organization known for delivering high-impact assessment, research, and testing solutions across government, military, and credentialing sectors. In this role, you will contribute to mission-critical DoD computerized testing programs while working with modern automation technologies including Java, Selenium, Eclipse, TestComplete, CI/CD pipelines, AWS/Azure, and security testing frameworks. This is an onsite role with eligibility for up to two remote days per week following a 90-day probationary period, and is open only to U.S. Citizens.

Required Skills & Experience
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a T3 Public Trust
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of automation QA experience
- Strong proficiency in Java and the Eclipse IDE
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Experience integrating automation within CI/CD environments (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of Agile/DevOps methodologies and Git
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud environments
- Effective collaboration skills within matrixed teams
- Security certification (or ability to obtain within 3–6 months)
- Experience with TestComplete
- Experience migrating automation scripts or frameworks
- Prior experience supporting DoD or federal programs
- API testing experience (REST Assured, Postman)
- SQL and database validation experience
- Performance testing experience (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with AI-assisted automation or conversion tools
