Software Engineer React/Quantum Networks/Remote EST

Job Description
A growing start-up is hiring a Senior Front End developer for their Simulator Team. As a Senior Front End developer, you'll be responsible for scaling the simulation platform, developing modern UIs and workflows, and advancing core products supporting quantum networks across industry and academia. This is a hands-on role emphasizing expertise in React and TypeScript, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of advanced web tools.

Required Skills & Experience

• Highly skilled in React and TypeScript
• Skilled in Python and FastAPI or Django
• 5 years of software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills
• ship or permanent resident status, ability to work in Eastern Standard Time

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with Docker, Github Actions, and cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
• Experience designing scalable REST APIs and user interfaces
• Familiarity with scientific computing tools (numpy, scipy, pandas)
• Experience with high-performance or distributed computing

Daily Responsibilities

• 100% Hands On
• Build and optimize simulation tools, UIs, APIs, and workflows
• Maintain and scale high-impact platforms for the quantum internet

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
