We are hiring an Engineering Aide - Test for a full-time, onsite role in Andover, MA (5 days/week). This position supports engineering teams working on DC-DC power electronics, focusing on hands-on test support, lab work, and equipment maintenance.
This is a hands-on support role for someone experienced in test or design engineering environments (not software testing). The position centers on executing tests, maintaining ATE systems, and working directly with hardware. It is best suited for candidates who prefer technical execution and stability over a growth path into engineering.
Required Skills & Experience
Associate's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent certification
Strong knowledge of DC-DC power electronics and electrical principles
Experience operating and maintaining Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
Proficiency in soldering and understanding component types/ratings
Ability to read schematics, mechanical drawings, and test specifications
Experience troubleshooting technical issues with minimal supervision
Familiarity with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, function generators, electronic loads, probes
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience in power electronics environments
Background supporting hardware validation or product testing
Ability to work independently in lab settings
