You'll be hands-on with everything from architecture to implementation, designing systems that power real-time insights, agentic bots, and automated data pipelines. This is a chance to work at the intersection of AI, data engineering, and security tech building something genuinely impactful.
What You'll Do
- Design and build scalable data pipelines from ingestion to transformation across 1,400 structured and unstructured data sets.
- Develop frameworks for data validation, enrichment, and deduplication that power downstream analytics and machine learning.
- Own architecture decisions for our Python-based backend and data infrastructure.
- Work with internal and external teams to build high-performance, secure, and reliable systems.
- Build and maintain scrapers, bots, and automation workflows that feed real-time intelligence.
- Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to deploy new models and agentic automation tools.
- Support integrations for enterprise clients and data compliance needs
- 9 years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong command of Python for ETL, API integrations, and automation.
- Experience working with large, messy data sets and designing scalable pipelines.
- Solid knowledge of modern data stack tools and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Familiarity with distributed systems, orchestration tools, and RESTful data services.
- Comfort operating in a startup environment - resourceful, self-directed, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Must be eligible to obtain security clearance (U.S. work authorization required).
- Ideally based in Phoenix, AZ or Florida.
