MRO/Maintenance Buyer

Motherson Yachiyo is an established Tier One Automotive Supplier that has been in business for over 70 years. We're committed to operational excellence and are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive MRO/Maintenance Buyer to support our maintenance and supply chain operations.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance/MRO Buyer is responsible for procurement and hands-on maintenance support as it relates to MRO purchasing. This position sources, purchases, and manages inventory of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies to support facility and equipment needs. In addition to purchasing duties, the MRO Buyer may also perform maintenance related tasks as part of the maintenance team. This role works closely with other departments to ensure operational uptime, cost efficiency, and timely availability of critical parts and services.

1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (plus additional overtime as needed)

Location: Carrollton

Job Duties Include:

• Responsible for procuring and managing the inventory of items needed for the maintenance, repair, and operations of company machines/equipment.
• Place orders and track deliveries
• Negotiate with suppliers
• Investigate better products and pricing
• Evaluate supplier reliability

Requirements Include:

• Must have held an MRO Buyer position with recent and verifiable experience in a manufacturing facility
• Must have knowledge of manufacturing maintenance planning and procurement, including equipment troubleshooting and repair needs
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Programs
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand. bend at waist and knees, and perform moderate lifting throughout their shift.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift experience is a required
• Overhead Crane experience is required
