Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and towels are laundered and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests in a hotel setting.
Responsibilities
- Launder linens, towels according to established procedures.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items efficiently.
- Inspect all items for stains or damage before and after cleaning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
