Overview
Join our team as a Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor and play a key role in delivering outstanding hospitality, guest service, and hotel operations. As the face of the hotel during evening and overnight hours, you will manage front desk operations, guest relations, reservations, and night audit procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with hotel front desk, night auditor, or customer service experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service / Front Desk
- Provide exceptional customer service and guest relations
- Perform efficient hotel check-in and check-out
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and service recovery
- Answer and manage calls with professional phone etiquette
Reservations & Front Office Operations
- Manage hotel reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Upsell rooms and promote hotel services to maximize revenue
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities and local area
Night Audit / Accounting
- Perform night audit procedures, daily reports, and account balancing
- Process cash handling and credit card transactions accurately
- Complete data entry, reporting, and communication logs
- Inspect check-out rooms
Hotel Operations & Safety
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when scheduled
- Maintain lobby cleanliness and front desk organization
- Follow hotel safety, security, and guest privacy procedures
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, controlling access points, and conducting safety inspections of the premises
- Monitor property and perform basic safety checks
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) – REQUIRED
- Experience in hotel front desk, night audit, or hospitality preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills; PMS experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
