Job Summary
The Guest Service Representative/Night Auditor is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for providing a warm welcome, efficient check-in/check-out, and excellent customer service throughout the guest’s stay. This role plays a key part in ensuring guest satisfaction and handling inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and check them in/out efficiently using hotel systems.
- Process payments, issue room keys, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and concerns promptly and courteously.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage messages and guest correspondence.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
- Uphold security and privacy standards for guest information and room access.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality, hotel management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with computers and front desk systems (PMS experience a plus).
- Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and resolve issues independently.
- Professional appearance and a positive, guest-first attitude.
- Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
