We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining our facilities and supporting production operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Fabricate parts as needed for repairs or improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance.
- Conduct inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance roles, with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, pump systems, Ptak units, water systems is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is a plus but not required.
