Housekeeper/Laundry
Duties:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas of the hotel
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
- Assist with laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens if needed.
- Handle dry cleaning requests from guests.
-be able to clean PET-friendly and smoking rooms.
-able to lift cleaning supplies upstairs since no elevator.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry preferred but not required
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and standing for long periods of time
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
