From operating laundry equipment to assisting customers with their needs, you'll be the friendly face that keeps our laundromat running smoothly and efficiently.
This is a part time, seasonal position for now with the possibility to evolve into a permanent position. Busy season for our store is starting to pick up and will go until around labor day. Our main needs are from 7 pm-10 pm (any 4-5 days of your choosing), as well as Saturdays (more flexible on timing). 15-20 hrs a week.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain commercial laundry machines, including washers and dryers, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Assist customers with their laundry needs, providing friendly and efficient service to enhance their experience.
- Keep the laundromat clean and organized by regularly cleaning machines, folding areas, and surrounding spaces.
- Monitor equipment for malfunctions or issues, reporting repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain cleanliness standards by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing all areas regularly.
- Provide basic customer support by answering questions about machine operation or laundry services.
- Assist in processing wash, dry, fold orders.
Requirements
- Experience with cleaning or laundry services is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently to maintain a tidy environment.
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
