What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Motel 6 Ashland, OH?
The Motel 6 in Ashland Ohio is currently seeking Full and Part Time Housekeepers/Room Attendants to join our team. Must have weekend availability. Monday through Friday start time is at 8:00am and on Saturday and Sunday the start time is 9:00am. You receive two days off week on average and the days off can change weekly based on occupancy of the hotel.
The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
- Ensure all cabins and facilities are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Notify superiors of any damages, deficits and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Maintain stock levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be well versed in company-related policies and practices
Requirements
- Experience as a cleaner or housekeeper (Experience is mandatory)
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritization, communication and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Knowledge of English language
