Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Performance Coach who can confidently coach both training and nutrition. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who understands how to take a client from their current state to a defined outcome using programming, accountability, and communication.
This role begins part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position based on performance, reliability, and leadership during a 3-month probationary period.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement individualized training programs based on client goals (fat loss, muscle gain, physique change)
- Provide practical, goal-oriented nutrition coaching and habit guidance
- Program effectively using Trainerize or a similar coaching platform
- Track client progress through data, photos, measurements, and adherence metrics
- Lead in-person sessions and ensure proper technique, safety, and progression
- Maintain consistent communication with clients through our coaching platform
- Support client retention through results and strong relationships
- Participate in fitness sales conversations and be comfortable closing or assisting in closing clients
- Collaborate with leadership and the client success team to ensure client accountability
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in personal training or performance coaching
- Demonstrated experience coaching both training and nutrition
- Strong understanding of program design and progression principles
- Experience using Trainerize or a similar digital coaching platform
- Background in fitness sales or consultation-based selling
- Personal training certification (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ISSA, or equivalent)
- CPR/AED certification preferred but not required
- Must be athletic and maintain a high level of personal fitness

Compensation and Growth
- Initial pay: $35 per hour (probational period)
- Performance-based increases available
