This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities
- Lead the software design, integration, and testing of advanced systems supporting critical national security missions.
- Perform research-oriented work alongside award-winning teams to develop practical solutions for national defense.
- Apply technical standards and methodologies to drive software development and system integration.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing technical leadership and fostering innovation.
- Champion process improvements and the adoption of new technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Engage in hands-on work involving embedded systems, GUI development, and hardware integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field.
- 5 years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law.
- Ability to lead the full software development life cycle.
- Expertise in applying technical standards and creative problem-solving methodologies.
- Thorough understanding of current technology trends with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Embedded RTOS.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming using C/C and Qt.
- Development experience with GUIs, drivers, and automation.
- Hands-on experience working with hardware systems.
