Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Hospitality
- Greet every guest with eye contact and a warm, genuine smile.
- Personalize interactions by reading guest energy, using their names and offering sincere compliments or recommendations.
- Match guest energy to elevate each interaction while maintaining professionalism.
- Handle guest complaints or requests with grace and empathy; resolve issues quickly or escalate to a manager if necessary.
- Adhere to Mosaic’s inclusive service philosophy—make every guest feel respected, seen, and celebrated.
Beverage Preparation & Knowledge
- Accurately prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipe specs and portion controls.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Mosaic’s beverage menus, including signature cocktails, wine, and beer selections.
- Make recommendations based on guest preferences and event themes.
Speed & Efficiency
- When lines form; Prioritize high-volume service without sacrificing hospitality.
- Use downtime proactively: restock, refill garnishes, monitor ice levels, and prep stations.
- Maximize every trip—always think one step ahead and assist teammates as needed.
- Communicate clearly and frequently: “What do you need?” “I’m heading to the cooler—need anything?”
- Solve small issues independently and escalate when appropriate.
Setup, Teardown, and Cleanliness
- Arrive on time, in dress code, ready to begin duties immediately.
- Participate fully in setup and teardown for all events; this includes bar setup, stocking, and assisting other departments.
- Keep bar and service areas clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout shift.
- Complete all closing duties per the checklist and receive final inspection from Beverage Lead before clocking out.
Team Culture & Professionalism
- Show up with a positive, respectful attitude—ready to contribute and collaborate.
- Communicate with professionalism, empathy, and calmness.
- Leave personal matters at the door; bring your best self to each shift.

Qualifications
- Minimum age: 21
- 1 years of high-volume event/catering bartending experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
- Commitment to Mosaic’s values of hospitality, empathy, and intention
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work evenings/weekends
