Seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to design, develop, implement, and support healthcare data integration solutions within the InterSystems HealthShare platform.
This role is focused on enabling the seamless exchange, transformation, and optimization of clinical and operational data across multiple healthcare systems. The Integration Engineer will work with complex healthcare data, interface engine workflows, and interoperability standards to build reliable, scalable solutions that support the organization's data exchange initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in healthcare interoperability, HL7, interface development, data transformation, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This individual will be capable of independently analyzing requirements, designing integration solutions, developing and testing interfaces, troubleshooting issues, and producing clear technical documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5 years of experience in software development, systems integration, or a related technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience with healthcare data integration and interoperability.
- Strong working knowledge of HL7 v2, including ADT and clinical messages.
- Experience with CCD and C-CDA document exchange.
- Strong understanding of interface engine workflows, integration patterns, and healthcare data exchange architectures.
- Experience with file parsing, data mapping, and transformation technologies, including XML and XSLT.
- Experience developing, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting production interfaces.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex data and integration issues.
- Ability to independently manage technical assignments and deliver high-quality integration solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with InterSystems HealthShare or related InterSystems technologies.
- Familiarity with X12 healthcare transactions and file formats.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience working within a Health Information Exchange (HIE), healthcare technology company, health system, hospital, or other healthcare interoperability environment.
- Experience integrating multiple clinical applications, electronic health record systems, healthcare data platforms, or third-party systems.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
