How Will You Make An Impact & Requirements
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Develop, interpret, and implement employee relations policies, procedures, and best practices
- Provide expert consultation to managers and employees on ER issues, performance concerns, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
- Conduct thorough, timely, and objective investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and workplace concerns
- Monitor ER trends and partner with leadership to recommend proactive strategies that reduce risk and improve workplace culture
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Compliance partners to ensure alignment with employment laws, regulations, and organizational standards
- Support leaders in administering corrective action, performance improvement plans, and other accountability processes
- Administer and support Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA) programs
- Analyze ER data, including exit interviews, case trends, and engagement insights to identify themes and recommend organizational improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality in all ER matters
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Experience in conflict resolution, mediation, and coaching leaders through complex situations
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Experience developing and implementing HR or ER policies and procedures
- Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and critical‑thinking skills
- Proficiency with G‑Suite (preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, or similar tools
- SHRM‑CP/SCP or HRCI PHR/SPHR certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in Employee Relations or a related HR specialty
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
