They provide comprehensive tax planning and assurance services to a diverse portfolio of business and high-net-worth individual clients. The are seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join their team.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Junior Staff Accountant position. The Junior Staff Accountant will handle daily accounting activities such as maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end close processes, and preparing financial reports. Additional responsibilities include supporting audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting in accounts payable and receivable activities. The Junior Accountant will work collaboratively with the accounting team to maintain accurate and efficient financial operations.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, or other ERP systems
- Ability to monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and assist with audits
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Prior internship or work experience in accounting is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong desire to grow and work toward CPA certification
