What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical Units position at Morton Hospital?

Morton Hospital in Taunton, Massachusetts is actively hiring Registered Nurses for their Medical/Surgical Units with subspecialties in Cardiac Telemetry. Openings are 3rd Shift 32 and 36 hours.
Responsibilities:
- Documents initial and ongoing patient assessment in a complete, concise, and timely manner according to policy and procedure of MHMC.
- Develops and modifies and effective, comprehensive, and individualized plan of care including discharge planning for assigned patients, utilizing standards of care developed by MHMC.
- Applies knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served, i.e.: infant pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
- Initiates and coordinates patient teaching according to identified needs.
- Integrates, delegates, and coordinates patient care using interdisciplinary approach.
Qualifications:
- Current MA RN license required
- ASN; BSN preferred

Morton Hospital in Taunton is a 144-bed acute care community hospital serving patients and families in southeastern Massachusetts.
