We are hiring Registered Nurses for various Adult Acute Care Medicine units with telemetry and specialty care, including Renal, Palliative, and Older Adults units.
In this role, nurses assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, supervising non-RN staff and functioning as charge nurses when needed. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, patient education, evaluating responses, and ensuring optimal outcomes.
Specialized skills include neuro assessment, airway management, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and proficiency with relevant equipment.
Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), a valid Connecticut RN license, BLS certification, and proficiency with electronic health records.
