Job Summary
I am seeking a skilled and energetic painter to join my crew. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to a variety of surfaces in residential settings. Your expertise will help transform homes, enhance their aesthetic appeal, and ensure durable finishes that stand the test of time. NO PAINTING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Must be 18 or older.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and repairing drywall, plaster, stucco, or masonry to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Read blueprints and schematics to determine project scope, surface areas, and color schemes based on client specifications.
- Apply paints, stains, primers, sealers, and coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools.
- Execute specialized painting techniques including industrial painting, restoration work, and renovation projects involving caulking, trim carpentry, framing, and fixture installation.
- Perform construction painting tasks on new builds or remodeling sites while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
- Utilize construction estimating skills to assess material needs and prepare accurate job estimates.
- Conduct finishing touches like sanding smooth surfaces post-painting and performing touch-ups to ensure flawless results.
- Assist with related tasks such as carpentry (including framing and trim), masonry work like stucco application or concrete finishing, welding for structural repairs, and handyman duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste properly while following safety protocols at all times.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
