**Hiring Immediately – Full Time Residential Home Inspector (No Experience Required!)
We are seeking a detail-oriented residential home inspector who will be responsible for inspecting homes and properties to identify any potential issues. In this position, you will be expected to have a thorough understanding of building systems and codes, as well as excellent communication skills to explain any findings to clients. We are willing to train!
We are looking for someone that enjoys learning new things and has a passion for the industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to identify issues or potential problems
· Document findings and prepare detailed reports for clients
· Communicate with clients and real estate agents to explain inspection results and answer any questions
· Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices
· Utilize specialized equipment to identify possible hidden issues
· Ensure that all inspections are conducted in a safe and professional manner
· Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive reputation within the industry
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Must be able to obtain certification through NACHI or CREIA
· Must have a basic understanding of construction, plumbing and electrical systems and/or a strong background in the building trades
· Must have organizational skills to track documentation related to multiple homes at once
· Attentiveness to detail to find potential issues or problems
· Strong written communication skills to compose easy-to-understand, detailed reports using company provided software
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently 90% of the time and manage time effectively
· Physical ability to climb ladders and walk on roofs (comfortable with heights), entering and navigating confined spaces (crawlspace and attics), and lift up to 50 pounds is REQUIRED
· Must weigh less than 250 pounds as this is the max weight of our ladders
· Must be skilled with a smartphone and technology
· High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Information

Job type: Part time/Full time, travel required daily throughout San Diego County
Schedule: 20-40 hours per week
Pay: Pay will be based on experience, with training periods paid lower and an increase upon completion of a 90-day training period.
- $20-25/hour during first 90 day training period
- $25 /hour after completion of 90 day training period
