Job Overview
Morrison Millwork is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to support our Charleston coastal market. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in technical accuracy, understands the importance of impact-rated and coastal-code compliant products, and enjoys supporting others so the entire team succeeds. You’ll work alongside an experienced Territory Manager, helping deliver thoughtful, innovative window and door solutions where performance, precision, and relationships truly matter.
Responsibilities
- Sales Support & Opportunity Management
- Support the Territory Manager in executing territory sales goals through accurate estimating, proposal coordination, and opportunity tracking.
- Assist with nurturing new and existing client relationships through timely follow-up and responsiveness.
- Prepare quotes, product information, and specifications for client meetings and showroom visits.
- Perform quantitative take-offs and ensure estimates are properly aligned with impact and coastal code standards.
- Identify emerging opportunities and surface them for strategic pursuit
- Maintain collaborative project documentation and CRM accuracy.
- Client Experience & Service Coordination
- Serve as a primary point of contact for order updates, basic troubleshooting, and service coordination.
- Monitor projects in progress and proactively flag risks before they escalate.
- Collaborate with service and operations to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality resolutions.
- Support customer follow-up and continuity, while the Territory Manager leads overall resolution strategy.
- Place and track product, installation, and service orders.
- Product, Technical, & Showroom Support
- Maintain strong working knowledge of Morrison Millwork product portfolio – with an emphasis on impact-rated systems, design pressure & performance ratings, coastal building code requirements.
- Support showroom consultations for builders, architects, designers, and homeowners.
- Assist with product presentations, Lunch & Learns, and client events.
- Help maintain showroom readiness, samples, and technical resources.
- Continue professional development toward independently conducting client consultations.
- Technical Accountability – Coastal Market Focus
- Impact/missile rating standards.
- DP and structural performance requirements.
- Water & infiltration performance.
- Applicable coastal code and jurisdictional requirements.

Other Position Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in a coastal construction or coastal window & door market
- Demonstrated knowledge of impact-rated products, DP ratings, and coastal code requirements.
- Ability to read architectural plans and blueprints.
- Experience supporting builders, architects, or luxury residential projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
