Role Description
The Director of Accounting Operations is a full-time position responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing accounting processes, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, forecasting financial performance, and implementing systems to improve efficiency. This is a hybrid role based in McKinney, TX, with the opportunity for partial remote work.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
- Proficiency in Accounting principles, Financial Reporting, and related practices
- Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend informed financial decisions
- Solid knowledge of Finance principles, budgeting, and financial planning
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle complex accounting operations
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
- Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare-related financial systems is advantageous
- Hands on experience in Federal Govt purchase order methodologies (IPP).
- Strong experience in SAGE 50 or higher.
