DIRECTOR OF FUNDRAISING
JOB SUMMARY
Deer Run Golf Club, previously known as Tawakoni Golf Club, was founded in 1971. It is an 18-hole course, partially surrounded by the beautiful Lake Tawakoni. It is one of the most scenic golf courses in the DFW metro area. The new management has significantly improved the golf course and it is now one of the fastest growing golf courses.
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Fundraiser to secure funds for building cart-paths at Deer Run Golf Club. The ideal candidate will create compelling fundraising campaigns, organize events, and build long-lasting relationships with donors to meet our financial goals.
This is a contract position with flexible scheduling. Payment will be a negotiated percentage of funds raised.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Donor Relations: Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Event Planning: Plan and execute fundraising events, such as galas, auctions, and community drives.
- Campaign Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed fundraising targets.

Ø Street naming rights
Ø Lifetime cart passes.
- Grant Writing: Research, prepare, and submit grant proposals to potential funders.
- Marketing & Communications: Create promotional materials, including brochures and social media content to boost fundraising efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Non-profit Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or event management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Passion for the organization’s mission.
