What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant (minimum 1 year experience required) position at Morris Park Dental?
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Dental Assistant for our multi-specialty practice in Bronx, NY. Must be available Saturdays. Responsibilities include:
- Chairside assisting using four handed dentistry for general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry
- Digital radiographs including Full Mouth Series, Panoramic and CBCT images
- Disinfecting operatories and sterilizing instruments according to OSHA guidelines
- Setting up operatories and preparing patients for dental treatment
- Digital impressions and photos
- Alginate impressions and pouring models
- Familiarity with Dentrix preferred
