Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team at our new location in Orange, TX. Days of the week will vary as well as hours. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of our facility and proper care of our customer's drop-off laundry. You will also help our self-serve customers with any questions they may have. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without supervision is required. Spanish bilingual is preferred but not required. No experience necessary. We will train the right candidate.
Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entire laundry facility!
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers and dryers
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold customer's laundry
- Inspect laundry for stains or damage and report any issues to the supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entire laundry facility!
- Follow proper procedures for handling laundry
- Assist with inventory management by keeping track of supplies and reporting any shortages
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning and laundering techniques
- Familiarity with operating commercial laundry equipment
- Ability to work efficiently, and self-supervise, in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
