- The Healthcare IT Director serves as a pivotal leader within Morris Hospital & Healthcare Center's (MHHC) technology ecosystem, driving the strategic alignment of IT initiatives with clinical, operational, and business objectives. This role combines high-level oversight of healthcare information systems with hands-on leadership in implementation, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. The Director will champion digital transformation, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance patient care delivery through cutting-edge technology solutions while supporting the CIO in shaping the enterprise-wide IT vision.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional/Educational
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MHA) strongly preferred.
- Certifications: CHCIO, CPHIMS, PMP, or equivalent preferred.
- 8 years of progressive experience in IT leadership, with at least 5 years in a healthcare setting.
- Experience in a senior leadership role with strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration.
- Deep understanding of healthcare IT systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and their integration with clinical workflows.
