INFORMATION:
The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of MA Curriculum Frameworks, and will be familiar with differentiated instruction, tiered intervention and inclusive practices. An ability to collaborate with colleagues and an enthusiastic approach to teaching all children is essential. Current Massachusetts Educator License with SEI Endorsement is required. Master’s Degree preferred.
The duties commonly associated with the position include but are not limited to:
● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of curriculum content
● Plan and deliver differentiated small group instruction and assessments
● Support the social-emotional needs of children, knowledge of Second Step Curriculum and PBIS Practices preferred
● Promoting high standards and expectations for student achievement
● Communicating with students, parents, and other district employees to work on behalf of students
● Promoting equity and appreciation of diversity
COMPENSATION: Per LEA Unit A Contract – Exhibit A 2026-27 Salary Scale
Lenox Public Schools provide a generous reimbursement toward the tuition and fees incurred in pursuit of a Master’s degree for educators hired who do not yet hold a Master’s degree.
