For the 2026-2027 academic year, Morris County Vocational School District has an anticipated opening for a full-time, tenure track, Teacher of Carpentry. Candidates holding a CE, CEAS, or Standard certification in Carpentry are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Certification in Teacher of Carpentry (endorsement code #2522) is required.
• Strong subject matter and NJSLS knowledge.
• Ability to differentiate instruction based upon individual student need and interest.
• Strong skill set in lesson planning, curriculum development, assessment, and implementing a variety of pedagogical strategies.
• Experience utilizing data to make informed instructional decisions.
• Strong classroom management, safety, and communication skills.
  
  

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $65,455 to $109,685. This position is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health, prescription, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement plan, sick, personal, bereavement, and family illness days.
