We are now hiring a Part-Time Dog Bather at our Montville facility. This is a year-round position — not a seasonal role. Schedule: This is a year-round, part-time position averaging 20–25 hours per week. Shift lengths are determined by business needs and operational scheduling. Candidates must be available to start their shift as early as 7:00 AM on weekdays and be available to work between the hours of 8 AM- 4 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Availability to work on some holidays is also required.
Pay: Starting rate is $16.00-$17.00/hour, based on prior professional pet care experience.
No prior professional experience is required—but a natural comfort around dogs of all sizes is essential!

What You'll Be Doing
- Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs using company-provided professional tools and products
- Cleaning ears, trimming nails, and brushing teeth
- Monitoring dogs for safety throughout the grooming process
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
- Collaborating with team members to ensure a positive experience for pets and their owners
- Gathering information from pet owners and updating pet records

What We're Looking For
- Comfort and confidence handling dogs of all breeds and sizes, from the teacup type to the 'are you sure that's not a horse?' and everything in between.
- Willingness to perform cleaning duties related to animal care
- Team-oriented mindset with strong time management skills
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to follow safety protocols, interact with pet owners, and maintain accurate records
- Weekend and some holiday availability is required
